Events create a catalyst for much of what MNESTA is all about:
Networking – Events provide a unique opportunity for members to network about industry issues and solutions in a relaxed and fun environment. Good food (which is always a part of an event) spurs on fellowship and discuss around the table.
Membership Update – These gatherings give MNESTA leadership an opportunity update the rest of the membership on the activity of the board and membership, education, communications, finance, legislative, events, and alarm response committees share what is happening in each of their areas to keep the membership informed about potential and upcoming issues.
Special speakers – Events often provide the opportunity for MNESTA to bring in knowledgeable speakers and discussion panels in an open and interactive environment to handle topics relevant to electronic security business in Minnesota.
Training – Training is scheduled around the events so that members can make the most of their time. This allows a member to fulfill their state training requirements before the event and then participate in the event.
